I have heard from a source of mine that knew the two young men that they had a "free Zimmerman" bumper sticker on their car. The shooter may have been captured on video surveillance but the local news is seemingly reluctant to release any video or they just may not have it yet. It would be interesting to see how this plays out.

It would be a damn shame if the killer was motivated by the mere sight of the bumper sticker.

That is really sad. Why can't people accept a verdict? The guy was found not guilty-

Why?

Because they made up their mind long before an arrest was made and will only accept a result that comports with their belief.

Had he been convicted there would have been no outcry, but there would still be those who would reject the verdict, and for the same reasons.

I grew up in Jax and know the family, Bohannon, went to school with several Bohannons. Just spoke with my Step Dad, who lives in Fruit Cove just across the river, and he confirmed they are relatives of the kids I was in school with.

Sorry to read the T/U article and see the video on Jax4 (my 1st employer).

I thought that the verdict might end the hysteria but no luck. My friends in the Legal profession in FLA, (in both the prosecutorial and private sector),are split 50/50.

I guess no one is going to take up the banner for these 2 young men.

I heard the two young men had Obama bumper stickers on their vehicles.............maybe that's why they got killed................?

Very sad. This is a good example of America rapidly going down the sewer. Murdering over disagreement about a verdict? Of course, it sounds like the motive has not been firmly established. Maybe the bumper sticker was coincidental. Still just as much of a tragedy for the victims of course.

Ask yourself this. When was the last time we respected a verdict from the judiciary THAT WAS CONTRARY TO OUR OPINION?

Could it be that it started over one guy saying this and the other guy saying that and the fight became something else too? How many married couples here have fights that start over something unrelated to the initial thing? Wife once sat on the commode when I didn't put down the seat. You should have heard that language used. It could have the paint on the walls blistering. Two minutes later, it went on to something else totally unrelated.

If a substantive violent response to the Zimmerman verdict was likely, it would have happened by now. I believe there was some violence in Oakland, and perhaps other isolated events. Plenty of white people live in my neighborhood, and the day after the Zimmerman verdict was just another day. We haven't had any blacked-out Yukon Denalis containing would-be drive-by shooters/avengers circling the block for days now. You can stop looking under your bed for the bogeyman - he's not there.
