I like it cause if anything ever goes wrong Icanalways fix it on the side of the road with a 13mm combo and a 10mm combo wrench. Besides I like to do 120-130 mph every once and a while

I love driving a Mercedes and I am fortunate to have this as my first car in life! I am 19 and people look at me as a rich spoiled person which I hate!!! The quality of these cars are very good the designs cannot be compared to other cars. They are very reliable machines and fun to drive and so far since my dad gave it to me, it has no MAJOR problems, just minor ones here and there.

At this point I would love to own a newer benz like a 95 or 99 and a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee!!!

Just dreamin!!

At a time when people consider 10 years (or even 5) as old for a car, I enjoy driving 'Miss Daisy', my recently acquired, 1960 220S Finback. Despite some rust, she sill feels solid as a tank and the ride and handling are amazing for a 42 year old (albeit, on modern radial tires). That old straight six idles so smoothly that, at traffic lights, I find myself glancing at the oil guage for assurance that it's still running! And that wacky '4 on the column'. And you gotta love those tailfins!

Happy Motoring, Mark

hahaha...I like this thread!

Chicks seem to dig my car, but they definitely don't like all the time and money I spend on the car instead of them!!!! Oops....

My Dad had a 1959 190 since before I was born and sold it 14 years later when I started high school.

He then bought a 71 280SE and STILL has it!

So I was hooked on MBs since childhood!

I thought when I finished college I would be making the kind of money to get a brand new '81 450SL (yeah right). The reality was that I tooled around in my 73 VW for at least 7 more years before I bought my second ever used car...a 73 Chevy Malibu.

Fast forward to the present...I have now realized my dreams (including marrying a cheerleader, and having a daughter...lofty dreams when you're the geekiest nerdiest kid in school).

But I digress...still love them MBs...and one day, I will hunt down that old 450SL...
