God will provide CLK.

Don't know how the others missed the " no arguing " plea. Not secure enough to let one thread alone.

You think God shill bidding an auction is not going to generate discussion?

I don't see where we are arguing. I don't know if its insecurity, but Christians certainly don't like it when people ask questions about their faith.

Like I said, I don't see how a 16 year old girl can survive a plane crash only to get run over and killed by an emergency vehicle responding to the scene. If that is a part of his plan, that is one twisted, dark way to carry it out.

In the same token I don't understand why God would want to help CLK get more than what he owes for the building. I asked some pretty simple questions regarding to the value of the building which he has yet to answer.

I wasn't looking for an argument, but understand how hard it is for someone of faith to explain to someone who does not and questions it without taking offense.

God kicked her butt out of the plane to save her, not his fault she could not get off her butt and limp out of the way of a on coming emergency vehicle. I am sure the vehicle has lights and sires running so it's not like she could not have heard it coming.

Kids are so lazy these days.

My understanding was that this has not yet been demonstrated as fact yet. I see lots of news articles that say "may", and the volume of them is because the idea of surviving the crash to be killed by an emergency vehicle is horrible and sells papers. Still, is there any definitive word that this actually happened?

As I understand it as a Believer, Tyler, the Lord, or (God) for purposes of this discussion, set into motion the entire Universe. This included man's free will, and random chance. If the teenager was harmed/killed needlessly by an errant emergency vehicle, that's just part of random chance. The chances of anything happening that can be explained. The chance that someone is rear-ended on their way home from work today, the chance that someone may win millions of dollars on a $2 lotto ticket, etc. The entire Universe was set-in-motion by the Lord our God - the rest is left up to random chance, and up to the individual to figure out how to avoid disaster, calamity/pain.

Robert's praying on his building's sale, is no different than Tim Tebow doing his praying to the Lord deal. Who knows whether or not it will work. If it makes him feel better, great. Regardless, some Believers believe that everything is God's Will, when in fact MOST everything is probably either man's planning, OR random chance. Nothing more. Robert has the power and responsibility to PLAN his future, perhaps more than he may think, IMO.

Go right ahead. I actually like people asking questions about my faith.

The problem is that many people haven't determined their theodicy (the problem of God and evil existing).

The only issue I have with his post is that it exists. I have no problem with the actions he's taking, but posting of it on a board like this is only sure to cause problems.

I'd post after the fact. Or not at all.
