I prefer to rest on what has been revealed.
I do not consider God to have a gender, but since He's revealed himself in the masculine it is only proper to continue along that line.

There is no consistent record of the deity's gender. In various texts both masculine and feminine are found.

Except for Mormons, the various major Christian religions appear to agree that the deity has no gender, male or female, and likewise has no race or color, since there is no body. There is likewise no "sex" to determine gender as there would be no need for human anatomy in that context.
Denoting "he" or "she" is a human construct, originating from historical bias. |
