Do the articles suggest is that "lawmakers" in NC care more about what the public says about topless women in public than say . . . a lot of other things in NC?

So if a woman has her high beams on while driving at night through a NC city, is it a violation of their state motor vehicle code or...

About 35 years ago topless bathing was an allowed thing in Texas. There was just no law against it.

I was talking to a Lake Cop once and asked him how he handled topless women on boats and he said he just yelled at them to cover up. He had no authority to do this, but as long as they didn't know that.....

By the way..... There is still no law against it in Texas. There might be city laws, but no state law.

A woman can be charged with disorderly conduct if she is topless and it causes 'trouble', but as far as topless outside of a city limits... Well, there ain't no law agin' it!

Brandishing. They should be kept concealed so as not to alarm the public.

Hawaii Supreme Court has held that bare breasts were not "lewd" under the statute prohibiting lewd public behavior.

I also recall that on TV in the late 60's, censors would never allow the "under curve" of the breast to be shown.

Then came the Woody Allen film . . .
