I like trucks. With rubber floor mats and vinyl bench seats. Trucks luxed out and tarted up with the badges of Euro car makers are about as useful as teats on a boar hog. Glad the Saab 9-7 went over like a lead balloon.

So, I guess reading the wiki, the SAAB H engine (4 banger) was used up until 2002? And it's reliable? For some reason I was thinking it died in the "classic" SAAB in 1993?

1988 saab turbo !TRADE!

1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible

not so?

My apologies.
I'm not sure I've ever read a thread here that hasn't strayed, often far, from the topic at hand. It's kind of amazing it stayed within the brand.

The SAAB designed 900 was phased out in 1993. GM designed 9-3 and 9-5 came out after that

My old girlfriend's parents LOVED SAABs. They had three of them from an early 80's ('81 I think) twincarb engined 900 to a luxurious 9000. I got to drive their 1984 900 Turbo when it was new and it could fly!

Roger that, but how crappy did GM make it after 1993? Can one still live with one with a SAAB heart in a GM wrapper? That's the question....

Gotta have AC. Old odd SAABs had no AC. Would love another 70's wagon with the V4 or two smoke. Wouldn't even have to be a wagon.
