Oh hell yeah. We endure this herp-infested, steaming pile of mosquito habitat by having a festival. The local ones are the best.

My favorite (aside from local Cajun Mardi Gras, NOT to be confused with that commercial madhouse in NOLA) is this: Music / Festival International de Louisiane

Tomorrow I'm driving my pickup pulling a trailer with a Cajun band at the Eunice Courir de Mardi Gras! http://www.theadvertiser.com/VideoNetwork/2161704060001/Eunice-Courir-de-Mardi-Gras

Old or not the good news is that the cold wet situation in NOLA will make it a tad more nipply out tonight

I dreamed I saw the bomber jet planes, riding shotgun in the sky,

turning into butterflies, across our nation.

The weather was ferking miserable, but the Cajuns were game. Arrived on site at 6 AM which meant I had to be up at least an hour earlier to get there. The courier started at about 9-ish sort-of, maybe. Cajuns on horseback were maintaining high antifreeze concentration, which makes life exciting for everybody nearby.

I'm whupped.
