Actually, try cooking scrambled eggs with toasted sesame oil. Heavenly.
Add it to rice when cooking (just a little bit, gives the rice a fantastic aroma)
I keep bacon & sausage fat for my hash-browns & making gravy.
Did you know 'canola' oil is rapeseed oil, renamed 'cause the negative sound of its actual name? Renamed by 'CAN'adian 'O'i'L' ('A') producers. Mostly what I use.

I knew about canola. Good marketing move. Who'd buy rapeseed oil? Or turn their back on a rape plant?
