I am here at my lovely #1 daughter's place. Her hubby is a huge Ohio State fan, so we watched that game, then the auburn/alabama game came on and we watched it too. Now Alabama was favored but Auburn was not far behind. The last play of regulation turned out to be a field goal by alabama going for the win with one second on the clock. It was a 57 yard attempt. I noticed that auburn had a guy back there in the end zone and wondered if i had seen that before. I was unaware that if the goal missed they could catch it and run it back....but they could and they did. .....did with an explanation mark as the guy faked right and ran along the left sideline for a touch down!

Amazing.

Anyhow now it seems my SIL believes OSU will play for the national championship.

Sorry about your Gators. I was in Orlando on a football Saturday one time. The streets were empty. EVERYBODY, or so it seemed, was either at the game or in front of their TV. They like their Gators down there.

I'm hoping for an FSU/OSU championship because the SEC needs to let someone else win for a change.

Kudos to the Michigan coach for going for 2 at the end of the game yesterday. That took cojones.

I would say that was a coaching mistake. Alabama should have let it go into overtime.
