Poor little VW Microbus

1975 VW CUSTOM MOTOR HOME - One of a Kind!

Someone hacked off the rear section of a VW Microbus (or perhaps modded a VW pickup), grafted on a giant camper box meant for an American van body, stuck in an S2000 engine, took really crummy pics, and stuck it on Craigslist. Seems like the S2000 engine is the only part of the deal that's worth it.

I wouldn't want to be behind or in front of it, if it ever gets on the road.

If you're closer to Flag than Poenix, you can live w/o A/C pretty well.

If even a moderate breeze is present on a given day. You probably would be going nowhere. Original tire sizes where never designed to carry that load either I suspect.

Most those camper units weighted down a normal half ton pickup originally pretty well..

Good Lord. A pickup load of unfinished little details - no radiator yet? The guy is dreaming. It finally came home to him that he had a white elephant and he thinks someone is going to bail him out, after he's thrown good money after bad.

It looks like a VW microbus that tried to drive through a motor home but got stuck.

That thing's a POS but I'm fascinated by the concept. Big brakes, dual rear wheel adapters and a Subaru boxer and you'd have a neat little rig for two. I bet you could build a nice one for not much more than what that dude is asking.

Those are VW vans with different roofs and interior amenities, not backwoods hackjobs.

Methinks there's an extra zero in the price of that hack job.

It's ok, it's just a bay window bus. No one loves them, I know I don't.
