This is getting ridiculous. Ive taken numerous group pictures with attractive women in the group, and guess what, we were all smiling, so I guess by your standards everyone was flirting with the girl in every instance that they smiled for a picture.

next you will be telling us the flash from Obama's camera was designed to steal her soul.
Forget him, the expression on his wife's face tells the REAL story......

At my dad's funeral I was honored to be asked by my 7 siblings to speak. I started by saying that Dad told me when he was delivering death benefit checks to folks he could tell if they were Christian the moment he was inside the house. Non Christians were in deep anguish, Christians less so.

Then I mentioned that in the family Dad was known to be an excellent and prolific story teller. Then I told five or six tales from Dad's life about things he did that were funny (gleaned from very enjoyable discussions with my family...many of us had different details about the same story) and we all laughed and cried together.

The saddest thing I have expereinced is when children die....the parents are beyond comforting in every experience of mine.

Old folks who have had a good life and are suffering is part of how life is supposed to go at least. Tell your favorite stories to each other and enjoy recounting the life of the guest of honor.

I read that Africans treat funerals as a joyous rememberence of a life well lived.

The wives where you come from are insecure.

The photograph in its' entirety. Her reaction to his flirting is the real story. If it was mere harmless fun, don't you believe his wife would be all smiley and joining in on the festivities? But, she wasn't was she???

What is that old saying? "If looks could kill you would be dead right now"

Ask Monica Lewinsky what it did for her life. She left the country over it.

Really? You don't believe that the Obamas have a strong marriage? There is no way to know from a distance, but their marriage looks strong to me.

I wouldn't use the terms "open" or "forgiving." "Secure" and "trusting" seem more apt.

Depends upon your definition of "strong marriage". Hopefully they do have a strong marriage. But don't think for a moment that a man is free to show overt attention to another female, especially in the direct presence of his wife. If it were me and I wanted to build the perception that I had a strong marriage, I would have spent that time cutting up, selfies, whatever with MY WIFE, not the blonde next door!!

In the presence of his wife is where you want to see that sort of conduct, so long as the husband doesn't embarrass his wife. I don't see any evidence that the First Lady was embarrassed, but how would I know?

What would you do if you already knew that you have a strong marriage and didn't care about trying to build the perception of one? How would you act then?

Did I ever suggest that it was appropriate? Whether I do or not has not been determined, and certainly not stated... I can't imagine being able to formulate a definitive opinion without having actually been in attendance.

I did suggest that it takes a mean and petty type to find fault with our POTUS over such a small thing at an event which was in large part celebratory rather than somber.

That kind of crucifixion is what speaks volumes....

As for the photographer relating the atmosphere and the congenial nature of those he was photographing... what? We are supposed to believe your partisan opinion from afar rather than the word of the person who took the pictures? I don't think so....
Maybe you should tell us what the friend of your cousin, twice removed, who knew a neighbor, that watched it on TV thinks....
