PDK is basically a pretty strong manual box (or rather two in parallel, connected at the output shaft). No reason to think it will fail due to towing.

I'm sure that it costs more to rebuild than my $1,200 4spd.

I'll keep my truck thanks, its exceedingly good at doing truck stuff.

Cars with a trailer are great for homeowners though.
