The end of the year specials are getting good! I like the easy to clean leather and it just needs a Borla exhaust!

I'm debating for my next truck on either shooting the bed with Line X right away or just throwing a rubber mat in the back and saying heck with it.

2013 was the last year GMC trucks looked good. The new ones look too much like the Terrain, about the ugliest SUV next to a Nissan Juke.

the gmc isn't near as ugly as the chevy.buddy of ine bought a new gmc about every 3 yrs.his last new one he decided to go back to a ford eco-boost.well he didn't even get 40,000 miles and it threw a rod out each side of the block.after he threatened to get his lawyer involve ford replaced the engine.the day he got it back he traded it off for a new gmc.says he never should have bought the ford.

Can't load a ton into the trunk of an E class and put it in 4 wheel across some mud, or tow a 10k pound tractor now can you?

The only other real truck Mercedes makes is the G wagon and they go for about $125k.

Meh I don't want to spend $60k+ on a truck, I would like to buy a car at some point. I don't have anything that heavy to tow. My boat is kept in the water and is illegal over the road anyway, other than a sled trailer or an ATV trailer that's it. I might hook it up to a skid steer once in awhile but the half ton is rated to 10k.

I mostly want the space and the crew cab is nice since the new regular cabs don't hold jack behind the seats anymore. It would be nice to have a locking cab to store guns, tools, and camping stuff in.

My biggest hang up is downsizing from the 8ft bed to the 6.5! I'm still thinking on that one!

These trucks are so dam bloated now. More and more cab, less and less utility. They cater to the truck buying passenger vehicle market of guys who use the things to buy a gallon of milk and hang fake balls off the bumper, not the guy who needs it for work purposes anymore, and they are about as maneuverable as a battleship.

My advice is to buy a 4x4 cargo van for work since you need 4x4, and a car with 4 doors for personal use. I can carry 4x8 sheets flat no problem inside my express, with feet of extra room, as well as longer lumber

AGREE. I look at them and see how high they are now and wonder how people do much with them. Maybe I'm just short?

I think Ford might be the worst perpetrator of this, especially with that Raptor thing just obnoxious looking. I hate their grills too. They just look dickish especially when plastered across my rear view mirror when the inevitable ******* tails me.

Some are, some are not. The tailgate height on my 05 is the same as a 14 and not much different than a 1995.

Its the 4x4 3/4 ton and up trucks that are to tall.

GM is the best in this regard, at least with the 2wd trucks you can still reach everything in the bed. With a 4X4 you need a leveling kit.

I might just spend $25k on a regular cab basic 4x4 truck and save for a car.

Im BaReLY able to stomach the 07 up GMC,,( black looks best) Not that damn chevy--AND DAMN SURE NOT THE 2015'S --ANY of em.
If someone loves right angles--thats the truck for them, They probably would have loved to make the frikkin wheels square on it if they could have got away with that......................................
