I imagine the time the first car came out and what the horse folk said. Same with fuel injection and whatever else that came. And there is the talk from our parents that went "When I was young, I couldn't have gotten away with......" or what some of us say "When I was a kid, XYZ was allowed, today it isn't."....

Besides the dog being more worthy of my risk, it is more likely to be grateful than a person. I mean, look at the dog. It is skin and bones. Tells me that this wasn't an accident at all.
