I imagine the time the first car came out and what the horse folk said. Same with fuel injection and whatever else that came. And there is the talk from our parents that went "When I was young, I couldn't have gotten away with......" or what some of us say "When I was a kid, XYZ was allowed, today it isn't."....

Besides the dog being more worthy of my risk, it is more likely to be grateful than a person. I mean, look at the dog. It is skin and bones. Tells me that this wasn't an accident at all.

I couldn't figure where you were coming from at first either but it's more clear now and I agree with you, somewhat, cuz what we're doing here can sure seem like a waste of time also. But not always.
