SF being the city of San Francisco? Have only ever seen like 1 or 2 there, 1 was mine when I went to visit family. Simply too large for the small streets and parking lots. My 'dozer is too long for the driveway at my friends place in the city, and too wide for the street in front of his place. A car can't fit around my truck if I street park it in front of his place.

Now if you're talking about the Bay Area/Central Valley, CA - there are brodozers all over the place!
I think that our resident savant was referencing southern Florida.

I'd still have to throw a couple kids in the bed.

Is there supposed to be sarcasm there?

A friend with a 6.0 is on his 4th set of head gaskets, and the 6.4 was just an evolution of the 6.0!

Bump.

Took delivery yesterday, now I'm up to 67 miles, almost high mileage!

Fantastic vehicle, you can see the Mercedes DNA bleeding threw. The transmission is German, the rear suspension is off a G wagon, even the key is off an old E class.

The motor is a quad cam V6, pretty much a Mercedes design and it runs like it. Right down to the top mounted cartridge oil filter.

Now I just have to pay it off so I can buy a toy next!

The V6 was a good choice, I have only gotten on it once since its so new but it certainly feels like 300hp! Pulls about like the old 5.3 Chevy or my buddies V8 G wagon.

I ordered a set of set of stainless nerf bars for it, its just to tall without them.

Still on the original set at 164,000, all the truck does is tow. Not sure what people do to trucks that I don't.

I'd avoid the extended warranty and maintenence packages as they are a ripoff, all that stuff.

Just put $6800 or so in an interest bearing money market account to draw down from, when needed, to pay for upkeep service and non warranty expenses out of that, and write off whatever you can, on your taxes.

Whatever you are doing, I hope you keep that up and I suspect you can retire early and likely pretty rich, if you follow your business plan diligently and persistently....so keep this up! ...Have fun too, along the way, but it sure won't hurt if you are prudent and lucky in your choices of females and recreational beverages, along the way, either! lol
Jim,
Just wondering if you're around the forum these days? Thanks for this car update last month.
