Wonder if that's one of those new high-tech German cars with no dipsticks?
She must've been relying on the oil maintenance computer. I had an old Audi where I had to add a quart every 250 miles. I guess you could say that one was self-changing! Happy Motoring, Mark

Those of us in the repair biz, see stuff like this all the time.
around here, we call 'em "sludgebuckets". Funny, these same owners are usually the ones complaining that no one will make them a decent offer on their "trade in". These same cars also usually have corded tires, brake rotors thinner than razor blades, and petrified cheet-os scattered throughout the interior. |

So, did they ever "add" any oil. It does not specify. I'm sure they must have... If not, I'd say it looks pretty good! Keep on truckin.... It's just an Audi, who cares!

Had an OM642 CDI in the shop last month that did the same thing after 35K. The owner drove it til it locked up.
