cone shaped drill bits

Does anyone know where in the US to find drill bits like the one below? It’s made or distributed by Bosch/HSS but there are probably other manufacturers and/or distributors.

Anywho, I’m looking for cone shaped smooth sided drill bits

Not too hard to find, you can get them on Amazon.

^If you have a link to a US site i'd appreciate it. I've only found it in the UK on Amazon or elsewhere, and then only 1 size.

Thanks! Found a good candidate on page 2, not a Bosh or HSS but that isn't crucial.

I see the stepped conical bits at hardware stores regularly. I have a friend who swears by them, I don't often deal with sheet metal so it's not a big item for me.

I will use it to drill into aluminum bars to get smooth cone shaped holes. The step drill works great except that it leaves the steps inside the hole, which is not what I’m after. The smooth sided cone drill will be used to remove the steps left by the original and leave a fairly polished surface.

It’s a pita to use a dremel to remove the excess material from the original and then polish.

Ah, of course, if the cone shape is what you want. I suspect such things are halfway common for machinists. That sort of reamer looks a bit like a gun drill.

Thanks for that suggestion. Once I get the prototypes worked out I’ll see if a machine shop can produce some with nicer fit and finish than my garage shop permits.

Ryobi 5/8 in. High Speed Steel Countersink-A10CS82 - The Home Depot

-the angle on this should match countersunk fasteners a bit better than the long cone that is pictured above. (webpage just used for the picture, I'm not advocating HD or Ryobi over any other brand...)
