The New "Popemobile"

Pope rides in style. Haleluja!

Now if he can bless the Polish soccer team in beating Portugal in the next upcoming WC game

The pope used to have a Gwagen... I think the Gwagon looked better done up as the pope's chariot.

I'm sorry but that is UGLY! The G wagon was square and it looked half way decent with the huge box on the back. O ya another fact of MB History the Pope was given a 500SEL.

They should have ordered up a stretched and armored M-class or G-wagen instead of that atrocity, with that huge tumor for papal viewing stuck on the back.

A W220 limo with clear armor-plated windows would have been even better, and classier.

That thing is horrid!

I think the Pope has set his sights on keeping the ice cream franchise in the vatican city to himself!!!He's just practicing his spiel for selling ice-popes
Is that blasphemy?Bear

All the better to lure young boys even closer...

...okay, I'm getting stuck by lighting for that remark!

I guess it could look swoopier, but it's tough to manufacture curvy security glass for a panoramic roof!

that catholic remark is not funny.. even worse when it reffers to the POPE who has nothing to do with the few American psycho priests.

However, i know its a joke.. so its cool. I guess:p

Looking at the picture, if you removed that glass ection the pope is in and made it into a pickup truck bed, you'd have one nice looking pickup truck.

Do I see a pickup ML in the future?

Yes dan, but what I was saying was the way the pope mobile would look as a pickup, would be pretty nice looking for a pickup truck.
And I meant that do I see them for sale here int he future, as a model of mb...

O I see. The crew cab drawling they had looked pretty good I would have liked to see a M truck. Or how about a G pickup.

Howdy All,
Besides the 3 popular G models MB has made Gs as panels, pick-up trucks and crew-cabs. I saw a pic of a crew-cab with a dumpbed
