Sometimes the youth of today renew my faith in them!

Your right and nice to see. There are still a lot of good young people out there. They just live in the shadow of too many others unfortunately. Following down to the less savory news of the day.
Dog eats baby for example. Who in their right mind keeps a dog that would do that type of thing? I have met people that own dogs that have to be brain dead. They know the potential is there. Yet they keep the dog. We own two dogs currently and like all we have ever owned are very predictable. Pit bulls for example are safe. They compose about 7 percent of domestic dogs. Yet are responsible for 75 percent of the attacks on humans. Over and over owners state they never though the dog would do what they did. How can they possibly mask that is what the breed does? I just went back to check after typing this. Baby story is old that fast and replaced with others. Last edited by barry12345; 04-13-2019 at 10:37 PM. |

A friend of mine who was a bank parking lot guard is permanently disabled after he was attacked by 2 pit bulls (unprovoked) that exited a vehicle window left down by a patron of the bank. (And he was a big guy)
My wife's son has a pit bull that's sweet as a puppy-hard to imagine it would attack someone. I wonder if they have to be trained to be aggressive.
