I think a lot depends on how much you are paying for insurance now. If you have no accidents or tickets then the premium is probably already pretty low. I don't think the little extra bit of savings is worth having this invasive device in the car. Now, if you have a horrible record with super high insurance rates then it may be worth it.

Invasive? It's a small device stuck on my windshield. It tracks speed, braking..etc. my cell is.can be tracked. My electronic foot print is probablyquite large. If they want to track a few driving habits and give me about $280 a yr...I have no issue with it. Our driving record is very good. I have never had an accident that I caused since I learned how to drive. Wife has not had an accident in over 10 yrs and neither of us have points from tickets.

If you have to pay off someone to do something, I'm guessing it's illegal. The whole thing sounded fishy and I doubt a car manufacturer would conduct business that way. If they want info on a car, they will go to the salvage yard, buy the car and bring it home to disect it not do it under cover of darkness.

Whenever you make a modification in your car you should declare to the insuring company. This is very important because they estimated your car at the moment they analyzed it, and when you will need their help, you won't be able to demonstrate that you had that modification if you didn't declare them. For example, when I made my honda civic insurance, the car was in stock. The engine broke so I decided to replace it with a Type-R engine with a VTEC system. I got in an accident and I didn't declare this modification, so when I got the money, I got for my old cheap engine.

Okay? I have paid for insurance for well over 30 years. I use it now and I pay less.

Exclamation Insurance

Just *one* time using it will make it worthwhile .

Okay, that makes sense. I think I misread it before.

Post Need 4 Insurance

Not a problem .

I've only used auto insurance a few times, some times it went well, others not so much but even then it was better than nothing .

I find this driver monitor thing a must-have for all drivers. This is cool and very useful. This driver status detection system is safe and useful for drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. I would like it to be such a monitor for cyclists as well. I'm not a driver. I live in the UK, and much prefer to ride a bike. So I ride my bike most of the day. It is common on some days to get tired and not pay attention to how I walk. So I did accidents, but the company, due to the insurance taken from https://sundaysinsurance.co.uk/, everything was fine. But I would have avoided the accident if I had such a monitor to detect my condition.

Been three years and my rates are still lower than they were before I used it. Seems to help or at the very least not hurt my rates.
