I *almost* feel like I no longer need my DSLR.

Going from a 7+ to the 11 Pro Max...if you’ve been holding off, this is definitely the time to upgrade.

The wives latest phone also has quite a camera upgrade. Where I thought her last one was pretty good. She has not acquired a new case for it yet. So I will suggest she watch out to protect the lens until she does. I even wondered if an app might be or become available to use a good cellphone camera as a paint spectrometer. It would be interesting to test it against the factory paint codes.

I felt that way about my Galaxy S10+ as well...amazing how far these tiny cameras have come in the last 10 years. The galaxy at least has some sort of mechanical device, you can hear it opening (sounds like a shutter) when you open the camera. I am not sure what it is though, havent bothered to look it up.
