Hmm... hit 250 20 times and slowed down each time makes it higher performing than the shuttle? Maybe there’s a little difference in weight of those two vehicles.

Tom I’m sure it looks wonderful to you and that’s great, but looks is a matter of taste. For me it is just NOT a beautiful car. Doesn’t make one of us a good guy and the other bad. It just means we have different taste. Sorry to rain on your parade.

I am not sure. Need to digest it a bit. I am sure it is a form born of function design. The wind tunnel and autocad said this is efficient. At first glance I see a bit of C4 Vet in the back end/glass. A little Jag XJ220 in the profile. A little Tessla up front with some McClaren tossed in for good measure. Not bad, very different.

It sure is different and I suspect it is the design of cars in the future if aero dynamics are to rule the day. It will have to grow on me ...... or, if I get to drive it and scare my self silly ... I am sure I will love it then.

David is correct. With a race car, function is much more important than form. The form is a result of the design necessary for function, at least for the most part.

The rear looks a lot like the 917 Lang heck to me.

Its not my parade but I am puzzled that a man who likes to fly would not appreciate such an aerodynamic design.

I imagine it would be a kick to drive. A little scary maybe. 0 to 186 in 13 seconds? At some point I start to think it's too much. 250 mph is just not something that is needed or even accessible ... outside of deserted runway or salt flat. I'm not crazy about the look either.

I do love the functionality of the design because I fully expect that it’s heck for fast. It’s the
looks that I have no taste for. I’m a functionality overall form guy.

I appreciate the engineering, but the look doesn't do it for me.

I noticed it did not seem to have adequate intake for cooling the motor. Turns out it has a gas motor with over 700 hp and an electric assist of over 300 mph....thus the smallish intakes for air.
