Yeah, but they discovered the carburetor was obsoleted by a perpetual motion machine that required no fuel whatsoever.

An oldie but goldie that has been around since I was a child or longer.

Volkswagon did sell a very high millage diesel car in the euro market for years. Never exported to north America.

Personally I feel it would have sold well here. Possibly the best fuel milage of any car ever commercially produced in that time. By a decent margin. Beating the diesel smart car I believe.

Why do I need this new fangled generator?
