New member saying hello

New member stopping by to say hello!
So I purchased a 1979 240D a few months ago with 93K miles, non running for $800. After a few months of working on it here and there, I got it running, registered and on the road.

here is a pic of 240D

Next thing I need to do is install a passenger side mirror (manual) since this one did not come with one, so thats what I'll be looking for next.

Looks great! Is it a stick or automatic. I have about 700,000 miles in stick shift 123’s and miss having one to drive.

Thumbs up ! WELCOME NEWBIE !

That looks like a good one .

Be aware the passenger side mirror changes the spacing of the mounting screws part way through the1982 model year, this gave me some troubles twenty years ago when most of the junked W123's were earlier than my late '82 .

Maybe put up a post in the classified section ? .

Good to have another 240D

Welcome. Great to see another 123 saved. Especially a 240D.

Yeah, I have a manual mirror. I'll let it go for a reasonable price.
