Today, September 20, 2020 is Sophia Lorens birthday.

A freak is nice when you're young but those days are long behind me now .

Absolutely correct! It’s simply a matter of taste. Bot is right on the money too. I don’t find Meryl Streep even slightly attractive in any way.

I was not impressed with Meryl Streep's acting either.

If I remember correctly it seems that is was mostly Women that liked her screen presence.

Loren had a warmth of personality that came out on film. However, the time period between Meryl and Loren and what is valued is different.
