Indy 500

Just watched the 500 on tv. I have never been a great lover of Castroneves and always felt a bit snide about him since he always had the best equipment driving for Penske and always kindof liked it when he did not win that fourth time.

This time he did not have a Penske car and I actually was pulling for him a bit in the race, though I'd rather have seen Dixon, Carpenter or Montoya win, but it looks like he earned it today.

Wooo hooo!

Graham Rahal was who I was rooting for. I had him in the pool which was also somewhat a local favorite driving for Letterman team. Someone in that pit crew is out a job, I hope.

The tire guy clearly was not finished when Rahal took off. Not sure who's fault that is but isn't it someone's job to be sure all is finished before letting him take off?

Isn't there someone at front usually to signal them to go? I think it was not deleted so I will watch it again. I doubt the driver guesses when they are done.
