Wrong way driver kills five in Florida.....

One, they were all out on the roads at 4:30 AM. Dad said, "nothing good happens after the sun goes down". And so it is. It is still difficult to believe that some people get on the road going the WRONG WAY.

Years ago, south of Seattle, I drove past a scene of much wreckage on the southbound side. Turns out some loser went suicidal because of being jilted by his girlfriend and intentionally got on the wrong side and floored it, ultimately killing himself. I don’t think any of the others were killed but several people were severely injured, about four or five vehicles badly damaged as well.

I have driven much after dark over the years. That word again is “much.“ Never had any extra problems at night that I didn’t have during the day. The only serious wreck I’ve been in was while hitchhiking in daylight hours when I was 22. Single car accident, two passengers were killed, including the guy sitting next to me.

You got that right; last night was one of the very very few times I found myself out and about after the sun goes down. After dark drivers are whacko, crack-jobs.......they are dangerous to themselves and to others......

Talking Oh, DAVID !

You and your FACTS again ! .

It is true that I don't like to drive after sunset anymore, at least as much because I worry I won't see some thing / some one as the endless crazies and fools that fill the Los Angeles area roadways......

It's a sad thing that the drunks that cause so many fatalities don't often die because they're so limber they don't get killed by bouncing 'round inside their vehicle .
