Any experience with trying to help a drug user that's a bit mental?
About twice a day, most days, we pass by a house owned by a woman with a sad history.
Moved to Texas about 20 years ago after having brain surgery and a divorce.
Raised one son who is doing quite well, but doesn't see mother very often.
Seven years ago she started to use drugs and has continued to go downhill since. Now lives in squalor, water shut off, functional druggies live in boats and RV's on her small property, almost every square foot of her property has trash, old furniture, trashed small boats on trailers........ No driver license, bank won't issue any more debit cards due to claims of stolen,
Out of any city limits so no city involvement
She received notice of foreclosure on her $100,000 property saying she owes less than $700 to Morgan Chase.
Is there any hope/help for her from any government/private group? Her folks live 750 miles away & are in their 80's with limited funds. Son has washed his hands of her due to verbal abuse after he paid her property tax.
