Pinstriping
You might want to turn the volume down first, it’s some generic hip-hop, but the video. Whoa. I’ve seen stuff like this before. I can only guess they go to a boneyard and practice many, many times before they try it for real.

Having the right type of brush that will hold that much paint, and transfer it to the working point is pretty amazing.

I think this is the same guy. I was able to find the video because I texted it to a friend a couple of years ago. We do very little texting, so it was near the top of the queue.

i was shopping with a friend who wanted to look at the Royce dealer. They were impressed at the precision of the pinstriping. I told them I thought one guy did this and nothing but this at the factory.
They thought that was nuts, but the salesman said no. When your tastes are defined as 'only the best will do' RR tries to deliver. (Oscar Wilde was once asked by a hotel what type of room and services he would require. He cabled back that his tastes were simple to determine. Only the best will do.) |

Oscar Wilde FTW!
Legend has it that he was once seated next to an elegant lady at a dinner party. The conversation became animated and contesting, and Wilde asked the women if she would bed him for one million pounds. The woman was flustered, but upon consideration said Yes, she probably would. Wilde then asked if she would bed him for five pounds. The woman exclaimed indignantly, “Of course not! What kind of woman do you think I am?” Wilde replied: “We’ve already established that, madam. Now we’re just haggling over the price.”

My favorite observation of his is... I have been rich and I have been poor. Rich is better.
He blew money left and right. He was always saying one should always live beyond their means. On his deathbed he proclaimed... Alas. I am dying beyond my means. |

He was an entertaining fellow, but not really a role model, a good one that is.
