Cool! After ww2 they had a problem making enough money to stay open. This was a brilliant motor but the cost of it and the cars suppressed sales. The 16002 saved them.

For a long time, I was a snob and thought OHV was for hillbillies and muscle car enthusiasts. Since then I have reconsidered. It's interesting that the LS engines are only about 20% heavier than in-line six DOHC engines of half the displacement. And compact as well. I hate to admit it though, I don't like the sound of Detroit iron nearly as much as a high whine of an in-line six.

It went for $300. If I were more settled, I think I would have bought it. We are trying to move now.
