I had my first experience with a drive-in this summer while visiting Steamtown in Scranton, PA with my inlaws. It was a lot of fun though I don't think the Benz added anything to it.

I took the 380SE to a drive-in movie in Eastern WA in the summer of '99, before my senior year of high school. My friend Ryan (my age) and I rolled there with two girls who had just finished their freshman year of high school, and we were going to meet up with some friends there. I think we watched "The Mummy" and some other forgettable movie, and my friend tried to get on two girls at once in the back of a Suburban (he didn't suceed that well).
One of the best quotes from that evening was from one of the girls who had gone there with me; she wondered "are all the back seats in these "special cars" all bouncy?" and I was like babe, I have no idea. Yeah, that was a fun time. -Sam |
