Starmark or Third-Party Warranty?
Hi. I'm getting weak and just might by a 1994 E420 with 55,000 miles priced at $18,900. It is not Starmarked, it only has a dealer 30-day/1,000 mile warranty. The sales guy is suggesting I get a 3-year full-coverage warranty from a 3rd party (can't recall company name now) for about $2,000 as apposed to a 1 year Starmark warranty. What's you opinion? Sounds to me like there's a problem with the car and they want someone else to pay for it.
