Computer whizz question
Hello super genius'.
My question: How do I convert an .art file to a jpeg jpg bitmap or some other form of acceptable file to be able to post a picture of my benz? I right clicked a pic off the computer and have it in my documents. Thank you thank you and oh, by the way thanks

I would try photoshop... dunno what a .art file is... what program did you use to get it? Try sending it to my bro's e-mail with a note attached to tim@thedotcommune.com and I'll use his computer to try to get that pic goin

Sounds like AOL...I find .art files in my cache after surfing with the AOL browser at home. That also seems to be the default extension that AOL uses when I attempt to download pics on the AOL browser.
One simple trick is to pull them up on Paint (which seems to be more forgiving with weird graphic extensions), and then resave as a .jpeg or .bmp to edit later on some other package. The better solution is to just save as a .bmp or .jpeg when you right click on the pic when on the browser, thus eliminating the default .art extension that AOL seems to like so much.
