The jerk in me is screaming to point out your spelling error Hill, but then again as I ultimately have a series of degrees from the same school I just can't do it blatantly.
Texas A&M and multiple degrees from T.S.H.K.

Hey I went to public schools. What do you want? Question for you, if you lost a lot of vision in one eye would you still use a Weaver stance? Or would you recommend a switchover to the weak side.

Hill,
That comes down to personal preference, what ever you are comfortable with. Basically I would consider the scenario as a simple "cross eye dominant" situation. For most people their dominant hand is the same side as their dominant eye, but there are plenty of folks who are right hand dominant but left eye dominant (or vice versa). As an instructor, I would first determine dominant eye, then dominant hand. Nearly everyone I have taught that was cross dominant continued to shoot with their dominant hand, you just use your dominant eye. For a hand gun that is no problem, simply requires shifting the gun a miniscule amount toward the dominant eye. This shift works well with an isosceles stance, or a weaver stance. For one hand "bullseye" shooting just cant the gun gun a little toward the good eye. For long guns it requires learning to shoot from the weak side as one can't get their face around the buttstock. I know of one world class shotgunner who devised a prosthetic for his shotgun after losing sight in his dominant eye. Basically he mounted another ventilated rib to the side of his gun, spaced away from the barrel at the same distance his eyes were spaced. This allowed him to shoot strong side as he always had, but using his remaining eye. Hope this helps.
