What would you think were/was the best threads we had so far? Was it the "anti-cats" thread, "TLJ", is there a God thread? Just curious.

The best threads by far, and I mean miles and miles ahead of any others, are the threads that allow a Mercedes owner to solve a problem without resorting to expensive dealer repairs.
The next best threads are the ones that allow Mercedes owners to talk intelligently to their mechanic, and assist in solving the problem without large diagnostic charges. The next best are threads that educate people as to how their Mercedes works, and allows them to perform maintenance on their own. Most other threads are just opinions floating in cyberspace. The reason most of us are here are the three catagories i mentioned above.

I think the thread, or actually threads, in the vintage forum where Chuck taught Christie (bachlauter) how to rebuild her carburetor were the most awesome.

I like the "everyone post a pic of your ride" threads.
