Hey guys/gals:
Recently the armrest in my E-320 decided not to stay up when raised to get into that little "glove" compartment underneath. There is noticable resistance when raised to the uppermost posistion and it won't click into place. Anyone ever had this occur with their armrest before? Thanks! |

Your E320 is a W124, right?
The same thing happened to me, and after horseing it around, the clicking function broke, and now the armrest will only rest in the fully down position. My mechanic told me it couldn't be fixed, and that the whole armrest would need to be replaced, and it is incredibly expensive.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, it's a 124.
Oh well. Maybe I'll use some of that magic stuff we in television studios know to fix almost anything: gaffers tape! ![]() |
