Daytona "drive on " Beach

Does anyone know the speed limit for cars driving on the beach at Daytona?
I was surprised cars are allowed on the beach but was told lots of Florida beaches allow cars. I've been trying to find out the speed limit there on the beach but haven't had any luck.

Where's Benzman500 when you need him? It has been awhile but it is either 15 or 25 mph. I think it is 15.

why would you want to speed on a beach anyways? to me a "drive on a beach" is to enjoy it and cruise.

I used to live there...I think it was 10 or 15mph at the most...They don't take kindly to people hauling a$$ down the beach and running over the tourists!

15 split lanes on drivable beach. stay around 10 or Beach Patrol comes after you. The beach is now closed in some sections and not to many cities here let you drive on the beach that I know of
