+++ scanner test +++

I decided to test my on year old practicaly unused scanner today.
It's a ACER ScanPrisa 1240 UT : flatbed with incover light source for transparencies up to 5"X7".
Max optical resolution is 1200 ppi, interpolated up to 9200 ppi.

The test : check if interpolation really works?
-First scan at maximum optical 1200 ppi
-second scan at 4600 ppi interpolation

To keep files down (for this test), the film is in grayscale.
Film : medium format 6X6cm KodakTX
camera : Yashica "D", old waist level type with two lens (payed $50cdn about 15 years ago)

Attachment : The cameo in this pic is the actual film size, the red "parallelipiped" (red box) is the blow-up part in the next post. The left is 1200ppi, the right is 4600ppi interpolated. Both have been "ajusted" (brightness/contrast) and sharpen (unsharpen mask).
