For those of you who have the economy gauge

How does every "control" their economy guage when driving? Do you look at it?....keep it in the red all the time?...or try not to have it in the redzone?

I try to keep mine on the border of the red and none red areas mostly because of gas mileage and engine wear due to load.

If you drive with it in the red all the time would it be bad in anyway to the engine due to load and increased vacumm?
