Interesting. Must be different markets. The North American Sti has a 2.5L engine with no turbo lag and serious sub 5.0 0-60 runs. A Canadian car mag duplicated a bunch of 0-100km/h (62mph) runs in 4.7/4.8 seconds.

The 911 has a higher top speed, but I would be VERY hesitant to bet real money on the 911 against an Sti in any contest but.
