XM Radio is excellent. I don't have it yet, but I'm gonna get it as soon as I can afford to get a new Pioneer CD Player thats "XM ready" as the one I have now is too old. But both my brothers and my father has it in their cars, and we're thinking of adding it to the house. I especially like Hank's Place (XM 13).

Enjoy your XM radio's.

Had it since Sept 2002, love it, and I said bye bye to CD's.

XM is the ish. Prepay for the year and they give you a free month.

I'll post more later, when I have more time.

I finally got my XM radio up and running after an eight month ordeal. A BIG thanks to the great guys at La Jolla Audio for all their help up and beyond the call of duty-- even after the sell!

I LOVE XM radio!! Spend a few extra bucks and get an after-market wire from La Jolla tha will allow you to enjoy XM in CD quality sound rather than really good FM sound!

As for me, I signed up and pre-paid for two years. For that, they waived the sign up fee ($10) and gave me four months free for a total of $50 off. Pretty cool, and I don't have to think about it for another two years! If I sell the car/other, they'll pro-rate a refund for any time I won't be using.

Even if your head unit is XM ready, you still need to buy an XM tuner. Crutchfield has the Pioneer unit for $150. You'll also need an antenna for $40-50, and to wire one to the other. Finally, you need to subscribe to XM.
