Well, it's been an on-going battle with this car since the day I bought it. From electrical fires to the accident It's never been the same. For that reason, insurance is totalling out the car. I paid $24,000 for it, probably put over $15,000 in to the car in repairs and upgrades. Insurance put $16,000 in to repairing the car, and it still has problems. They're giving me $23,000 for it, and you frankly just can't beat that. It would be rediculous for me to keep the car financially. It was fun while I had it, and I'm greatful that I was able to own a 500E at one time, how many people can say that? Well...to be exact...over 10,000 people

So...you know what this means.....500E BLOWOUT SALE! All my upgrades, wheels, audio, everything must go out the door. I know i've been pretty idle on this board for the past 8 months. But I think this will sum it up: The car was in the body shop for 8 months. That's right, 8 months. I said 8 months I frankly got fed up with trying to repair the car back to perfect. So now that I'm done with the car, I'll be on here more often again. Even though the 500E will be gone...the 300SEL will be representing!

What will I get next?? Who knows, I don't plan on getting another car for a year and a half till I'm out of college. What will I be driving? My moms 2004 Suburu Legacy and the 300SEL baby! Not too shabby.
