lol relax.

You can get those glass bottles at costco last I checked, or your local mexican has those imported from mexico.

Usually you wanna get the ones from mexico or imported from abroad, b/c they're made with sugar cane, and not corn syrup or whatever. It just tastes better

Ever notice that Coca cola tastes different in different countries? In Hong Kong I swear it's 4 times as sweet.

the world of coca-cola

here in atlanta at Coke headquarters you can sample coke products served around the world. Much less high-fructose corn syrup served in other countries. The cane sugar coke is much better!

for a day, look at the ingredients of what you eat. High Fructose corn syrup is in everything! soylent green is people!

Lightbulb It's the water

Each regional bottler uses local water, which affects the taste of the final product.

Wow, Coke Connoisseurs. Only in America.

It's thought that water quality makes a big difference in brewing beer, hard water is good for lighter coloured beers, softer for porters & stouts, but this works through effects on enzyme kinetics during the malt mash. I guess it's conceivable that water chemistry affects whatever is in Coke (what the hell IS in Coke?), but can't imagine how, since they just mix up some concentrate, don't they?.

I grew up on Coke in Asia. Moved to the US and thought Coke tasted better. When visiting Asia, the Coke seems to taste more like Pepsi in the US.

In mexico, you can open a coke, leave it overnight, and it doesn't lose any of its carbonation.

mmmmmmm

That's racist and not funny...

DR-AMG writes:

That's racist and not very funny. Do you think that only Mexicans steal? I am a prosecutor and I can tell you that plenty of white boys steal...some steal for kicks and other steal to support their meth habit. Criminal behavior knows no ethnic or economic barrier. Rich people steal, poor people stel, Meixcans steal and white boys steal.

I've been on the record supporting the 1st Amendment right to say as one pleases. I also believe that PC is ruining this country.

But while the 1st Amendment protects your right to single out one group and then make a lame excuse like "LMAO I keed (sic)" the statement, however, remains racist....and stupid.

To get the best Cola available you have to go to the country where they invented the automobil.

In 1931, Karl Flach registered the brand "afri cola" in Cologne, Germany. Afri Cola became quite sucessful after the war, having one of the best advertising campaign ever:

The success of Afri Cola also had something to do with the caffeine content. It was five times higher than Coca Cola!

History of Afri Cola...

But, as always, big business comes in and ruins the whole thing. Bad Überkinger Mineralbrunnen AG (one of the biggest soft drink producers in Germany) bought Afri Cola in 1999 and changed the formula. They reduced the caffeine content by half and sweetend the product.

Some guys in Hamburg didn't accept the course of history and rebelled. They found one of the companies, which used to produce the original Afri Cola (they had also a decentralised franchise system) who is happy to help producing the original stuff under the brand "Premium Cola" There website is Interessengruppe Premium

Anyway. This stuff really rocks. I treated a friend of mine, who was traveling for twelve hours straight, with a bottle of Premium at 11 p.m. The next day he told me, that he could sleep 'til 4 a.m...

Anybody coming to Stuttgart I would be happy to treat with the taste of one of the best cokes in the world! As long as some is left in my stock...

Kind regards
Eberhard

They got that at Disneyworld too, I think at EPCOT. I liked it. Some of the drinks I liked, but LOTS of it I have NO WAY of knowing how they stand it. There was some English branded stuff, I think they said they use it between meal courses; YEEEESH, like lemon-battery acid.
