"This car is capable of running 70-75 mph with no problem."
If you have ever driven a Trabant, you will know that 75 mph in that thing will cause a heap of problems. -Like getting away from it alive! I would not dare take this handcrafted deathtrap up to more than 30 mph. on a dry road.. Did you know a Trabant is GLUED together! Freestyler

I love it. A car in it's crudest possible form. I wouldn't be too worried about taking it 75 mph down the highway. I highly doubt that you could even get plates put on the thing to take it out of the driveway. Note the lack of plates on the car. Being what it is, I wouldn't want to drive it any further than I could walk home anyway.

I like the electrical tape holding the steering wheel together.

Something tells me those are an emissions nightmare.

It appears to have a 6V battery (3 fill caps).
My guess with a 2 cycle engine it would not pass emissions in the US unless you can classify it as a waverunner.

If you look at the guy's website, he has sold a few, and they do amazingly have plates on them. These would be interesting to own, until something breaks. Way too much money though. As for the comment about the car being glued together, so is the Lotus Elise...
