Comcast wants to buy Disney
Either I missed it, or no one posted it here...but I thought people might be interested. Looks like Comcast is going to undertake a $54 billion hostile takeover of Disney. According to the USAToday article, this will make Comcast the biggest media company in the U.S., surpassing even AOL/Time-Warner.
I remember saying 3 or 4 months ago that it seemed like Comcast is trying to take over the world...maybe I was right. And, to top it off, their cable service leaves a lot to be desired... |

I agree wholeheartedly with that (in fact, I've been boycotting Disney over the last few years).
Actually, I'd like to see it blow up in both of their faces (I also have a strong dislike for Comcast)... More consolidation = less competition = (at least IMHO) bad |
