VW ABS brake issues

Hey Y'all,
the squids over at vortex have nothing good to say, so I'll post this here, as there are a few VW types out there.

the car is a 90 or 91 Corrado (same platforms as the 90-94 Passat's), it has ABS and the master cylinder seems to be going out. The car still stops, but you have to push the brake pedal farther down than before. If you pump it forcefully, the "low brake fluid" (and ABS) light(s) will come on- if you then stop pumping it, the fluid level will come back up and turn those lights off.
sounds to me like a leaky seal inside the master cylinder. My problems are these:

1) no parts place I've tried (incl. rusty) or dealer has a master cylinder WITH abs. Is my car a grey market import that I dont know about ? I thought ABS was an option on Corrados of those years... Any more ideas of where to find an MC ? FT school and FT job so junkyard hunting might take a while)

2) Since I'm pretty sure this is just a seal (untill I break it open and find otherwise...) Is there any source for brake MC seals that I could get ahold of ? I am not sure of the diameter of my MC, but I'd think it MIGHT be the same as other brake designs.
any ideas on where to find seals ? or if any other non-ABS master cylinders are the same diameter ?

I've been inside a master cylinder before (on the previous corrado) and feel confident in my mechanical ability to do work of this nature (provided it can be done at all). Any help is appreciated

-John
