Lightbulb ANY Skaters out there??

Skateboarders.

I am now the North American manager for a new skate product.

Let me know if you like to skateboard and I will be in touch in the near future.

It is a plug in for skateboard trucks that enables easy and better turning and control of a skateboard.

Makes skateboarding a pleasure.
My new sport.

I'll post a pic later.

Denis

I worked in the Surf, Skate and Snowboard industry for about 6 years prior to my new job.

What company are you working for? Wouldn't happen to be Think Skateboards would it?

Everyone in Minnesota skates. Next year I intend to buy a pair of skate skis.

Skateboard product

Thanks to those who responded so far. I have not had time to search for member 'Erase'.

The company is not Think skateboards.
It is a new adapter for existing skateboard 'trucks' (the wheel plates, bushings and axles) that allows for very enhanced turning radius like that which Mercedes Benz is well known for.

The company name is 'Wave Original' the name for the product itself is not decided yet.

We will not compete with skateboard companies per se or skateboard truck co. Ours is an enhancement to their product.
However ,it has yet to be shown to be applicable to 'new school' boards i.e. trick skateboards.
It is a pleasure to slalom downhill with this product installed.
(old school skateboarding)

Soon I will post pics of the product.
In a month or so, the product will be mass produced and ready for sales.

Thanks.
Now I have to go meet the video crew and web designer for a 'take'.

Brandon

What position did you hold in this recreational industry?

Let me know and let me know whether you may be interested in testing this product.
I'll be in touch later.
Thanks
Denis

Denis,

Thanks, I have a couple of old school skateboards I mess around on.

I have a friend who works for Carve Skateboards in San Diego who may be interested in what you have to offer. Let me know when you get to that point.

Used to skate. Favorite board was an Alta Bill Danforth ca. 1986-7. Cracked it in half after some big air because the tail was so crazy big.

I don't skate any more, but I still have my last board hanging in the garage:

Powell Peralta Lance Mountain Bonite (remember that?)
Bones III wheels
G&S trucks.

Does your device eliminate or reduce the dreaded "death wobble"? If so, can you make some for my Explorer?

I can see how that would turn tight.
It is two baseplates, bushings+ kingpins.
It increases the angle of the kingpin.
It may get very tall and a super steep
weged riser may do nearly the same thing.
It is still a neat free thinking idea.

The gorge games are going to have slalom races
this year. TS and GS. www.ncdsa.com contest
calendar for more info. Hood River is about 700 mi
from SF.

How does your product stack up to longboarding trucks designed for slalom, like Randalls, Torsions, and Nuclear Pickles?

The design of the basic Independant type truck is pretty prehistoric by todays standards.

I used to skate a little street and mini-ramp, but now I enjoy carving it up on a longboard.

Howdy All,
Just for historical (hysterical?¿) perspective. When I skateboarded we used trucks from roller skates nailed to a 2x4
