Exclamation

1) Libertarian Party 74%
2) Reform Party 74%
3) Constitution Party 63%
4) Green Party 53%
5) Democratic Party 47%
6) Republican Party 32%
7) Natural Law Party 32%

Given that I have a deep-rooted fear of the Libertarian ideals (at least as I understand them), this was very surprising to me...

I think its instructive that in my score, there is a greater separation between Libertarian and Repos than between Repos and Demos. And then between them is the Reform Party, which I thought was just a buncha PO'd middleclass white guys.

Next time you guys suggest I flack for the Repos or conservative whatevers, its just because the Repos are closer on the seesaw to me. But really, I don't see much difference between Repos and Demos.

regional tendencies

The South voted Demo for many years after Lincoln's "War of Northern Aggression" . Money/ programs splashed around by the New Deal also put the area solidly behind the Donkey. But defense concerns (given our many bases built by the DOD on cheap land with cheap labor) have turned Georgia (at least) to the Republican side.... along with several hundred other reasons, for sure. GA had not had a Rep. gov. since Reconstruction, but we tried one (finally) 2 years ago.
Let's see what happens- I'm sure one side thinks all troubles should already be fixed, and the other side says they'll need time to fix 150 years of trouble.
