Maybe an idea for the forum....
Over at the Audi forum, you can select the topics you want to track manually.
http://www.audiworld.com/forum/4000.html On the right side is a "tt" for "track topic". If you click on it, it turns red and says "ut" (for "untrack topic") If you make a post, or post a reply, it automatically enables the tracking for you, but you can manually untrack it. Otherwise it work the same as here, new stuff goes to the top. But if someone makes a reply to one you're tracking, it comes to the top. But stuff you don't care about just fades off into the sunset as new stuff is posted.

Is that why you are currently exhuming all of these old threads?
