Internet Explorer jumping windows
Is there a setting I can change in IE so it doesn't change from the IE window I'm in to another IE window that I'm waiting to come through? I hate it when I fire up eBay or some such 'slow' site, then I switch to email on another window, then when the eBay window is complete IE jumps back to eBay midway through what I'm typing. You made me wait, now you wait.
Thanks, Sixto 95 S420 87 300SDL |

I just switched to firefox and its very user friendly. The minute you install it it blocks pop ups, I mean I didn't have to look for any special setting in the menus or anything to do this. I can now browse CNN without getting bombarded

Changing browsers may block your pop-ups, but it wount solve the problem as to why youre getting them. You probably have spyware in your system (trojans, maybe even a virus). I was having serious pop-up/browser issues and even ad-aware couldnt solve it. I got help from a forum that dealt with spyware.
It turns out i had a nasty trojan. I now run IE with ZERO problems. |
